Concerned Group Launches Hunger Strike to Promote Anorexia Awareness

MINNEAPOLIS – Activist organization BrightLite is staging group fasts across the country as part of their new campaign to combat eating disorders. This ambitious move follows on the heels of their nationwide bodybuilding drive to raise public awareness of muscular dystrophy. The group’s latest campaign is not without its critics, however. A spokesperson for Bulimics Anonymous, when asked to comment, stated: “This move is in such bad taste, it makes me want to throw up.”
